2016 nissan rogue transmission problems9/19/2023 I was told by the seller that it is after the 30 day warranty so it's not their problem. It bogs down, and then revs up, doesn't accelerate like it should especially after stopping at a light or sign, it has stalled out while driving and been a general pain. I thought at first that something had gotten wet because we had a lot of rain and I'd driven through some partially flooded roads (nothing over the hood or anything like that), but after more than a week it is still acting up. My 1 month warranty ran out on 8/6/21 and it started acting up on 8/15/21. I bought my Rogue recently (7/6/21), used, and it seemed absolutely fine. I'm not sure but I will be as well so we can get it recalled and fixed! Mine started at 72,000 miles and they said it starts usually around 71,000 miles! Long story short, I paid 3,600 dollars because of a known issue! They need to be held responsible considering thousands of their vehicles including the Nissan Sentra, Versa and more, have added a 10 year or 100,000 mile warranty! This problem is everywhere - if you have a 2016 Nissan Rogue, take the time to try and put it out there, maybe on the official recall page. I even went to Nissan Consumer Affairs, top of the top, and was told because I am out of warranty that there is nothing they can do to help me! They were so rude and acted like this wasn't an issue being had by thousands of other customers. But of course my car is out of warranty so they can't do anything to help. We look it and it is a very common problem in A TON of Nissans including the Rogue. My 2016 Nissan Rogue started jerking and shaking due to the transmission slipping apparently on our way home from vacation.
